Higher Commercial Management School is a structural division of the professional programmes faculty of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry for Economic Development of Russia (RFTA). It is established by a special Government Decree in 1988 and has been one of the first business schools in Russia.
For already more than twenty years the Higher Commercial Management School of RFTA has been training professionals by using great home and foreign experience in the field of business education and by relying on its mission:
Individual training of highly qualified managers in conformity with Russian and international standards,
the creation of conditions providing for the mobility of education which opens up new opportunities for the
formation of the European labour market and the united educational space.

The Higher Commercial Management School has regularly been ranked among the best ten Russian business schools carrying out educational work on MBA, EMBA, DBA and other programmes of professional retraining.
